Don't criticize someone just for the sake of it. Misbah is also a human he is going to get a few things wrong. As a captain he had a good day today, give him credit for that.

Misbah-ul-Haq deserves much praise for an excellent capatincy. He used his bowlers very well. Although having no super star (but I hope in future many will be super star) in team, they have shown some character in bolwing and fielding. I hope they will be little aggresive in batting to obsorb the pressure. A lead of 100 or 125 in first inning will play an important role.

brilliant day for pak! Magnificent decision to bowl hafeez with the second new ball. All decisions paid off and extremely sharp catching!

A very good day for Pakistan but South Africa by no means out of it. First innings batting is the key for me. Pakistan have to bat well & take a substantial first innings lead (75+/-; 100+ would be very handy) as they will be batting last on this pitch. Anything less or if Pakistan fall short of the South African total, then they will be right back in this game and even favourites to win the test. Great captaincy by Misbah and great bowling by Hafeez towards the end. Although Hafeez, Gul and Ajmal all bowled well, Junaid was the pick of the bowlers for me, beat the bat many times and could have had a few wickets early on. Pakistan's fielding was very good today, took some excellent catches in the field. The catches taken by Asad (Kallis) and Azhar (Amla) were absolute blinders
