5 wicket haul needs a bit of luck. Sometimes 3 top wickets worth more than 5 wicket haul filled with tail tenders. If a bowler does his role and takes 3 wickets that should be good enough. A super star comes along only once in a while.

Since we have lost our only masterpiece Aamir who was believed to be the bigger gun than even Wasim Akram i have really high hoped from Junaid Khan man, I hope he gives out a tough competition to anyone who comes his way.
Gul doesnt have anything unique, I dont know why he is at the top in bowlers, He just works sometimes and the other time he is just giving away runs, He cost us the World Cup, The PakvsIndia match in the World Cup, He sure got us through South Africa in t20 world cup with his batting but afterwards he ruined it himself with his lame bowling.
Except Junaid Khan and Saeed Ajmal we dont have any great class that stands out in the world. Saeed Ajmal is soon to retire anyway.
Talking about batsmen Misbah is a great test batsman but his age is the con, He is also going to retire soon.
Hafeez is good but not really consistent, He has also took us out from tough times. Nasir Jamshed is the future of Pakistani cricket for sure, he has shown enough consistency than any other Paki batsmen in last 10 years or so. Azhar Ali has a really long way to go, in ODI he needs a lot of work and in tests he is finding it hard to really carry on. Younis Khan should retire now, There is a lot of new blood waiting for their own turn. Sarfraz Ahmad is a good keeper but we should keep using Kamran Akmal in all formats so he can always be in practice and he is a better batsman than Sarfraz we got no other choice. I can see Asad Shafiq can fight it hard if given a chance but he needs to work on his weaknesses as well.

Agree with all your points. But Kamran Akmal is not a good wicket keeper I think.

He has improved a lot as seen in Pak vs Ind series, The catch he took for Kohli was amazing.
I think he is a better choice over Sarfraz though because Sarfraz cannot bat for ****.

That is true. I recall joking about his brick hands before the series. He kept well.
