Well we’ve seen England Lions struggling against spin in Bangladesh recently and now the senior team has struggled just as much. Not what Andrew Strauss was hoping for after winning the toss. It was a great session. Wickets tumbling in the face of some canny spin bowling from Pakistan. England need a partnership after lunch…give us half an hour for a bowl of shreddies…

While Alex enjoys his wrap, England find themselves in a soup. Top-class stuff from Ajmal, but the batting has been strange. 200 is miles away, and my call is that 200 isn’t enough on this pitch. Geoff Boycott is lamenting poor techniques and the death of Test cricket on radio. Ah well.
England have stopped the rot to a degree but the loss of Morgan has really handed the advantaged back to Pakistan in the session. England need 200. I need a cajan chicken wrap…oh, what’s this on my desk…
