Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
Hafeez just earned himself 1500$ for his performance in this Match apart from his usual incentives from the match ..... just shows "Halaal ki q'maee" is the only one to desire
Keep it up Prof.
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
I want Cheema to be replaced too, probably with Junaid (and Umar in place of Asad) but looking at how defensive captain Misbah is, there is ever chance that he will persist with current lineup ![]()
Cricinfo:
“Atherton can’t hide his amusement at the host of awards being given out - most sixes, best bowler, outstanding performance of the day blah blah.” ![]()
ya shaiekh, dubai baich
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
I would replace Aizaz Cheema with Junaid or Wahab in the next game (Cheema was ok but you do need a left arm pacer as well + England have many left-handed batsmen)
Also bring Umer Akmal inplace of Asad Shafiq .... i would rather take Wahab Riaz who can bat a bit.
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
Cheema was not bad in second innings but was not needed really.
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
U r aware where “Peer Pagara” now is
… is this the new way to get Ehsan Uncle offline while the match is on ![]()
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
We have a settled wicket-keeper-batsman in tests at last. crucial 61 runs from Adnan Akmal :k:
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
We have a new peer pagara now...maybe EB can replace the one reinstated a couple of days back...

Mashallah brilliant performance by the team. Ever since corrupts were kicked out the performance is going up ![]()
Only if we can remove corrupts from our govt institutions our country can grow into great country too!
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
Wonderful Bowling performance and for a change fielding is improving masha'Allah ..... now if Batters can start putting 400+ in the first Innings especially on this dead tracks
My Team for the 2nd Test:
Hafeez
Tafeeq
Azhar Ali
Younis
Misbah
Umar Akmal
Adnan Akmal
Wahab Riaz
Saeed Ajmal
Umar Gul
Abdur Rehman
That would mean batting till No. 8 with Ajmals ability to hang around a bit :)
Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012
Cricinfo:
"Only in the closing overs of their bowling triumph did Pakistan's players show the excitable tendencies more associated with their cricket and when they did, the seasoned captain who has restored discipline, Misbah-ul-Haq, restored order with the stony expression of a Russian president surveying the march past of the troops from a wintry Moscow balcony."

*Michael Vaughan *(Former England Captain and BBC Pundit)
"The England batting has been embarrassing at times in this Test. The conditions are different to what they're used to, but they're number one in the world, they've had two three-day games to prepare and they've got all the analysts you could want to tell them about the bowlers they're going to face. But they have just not been able to adapt to the conditions and apply themselves under pressure."
