Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

42/0 at stumps.

A brilliant day for Pak. Lets hope they bat through day 2 and 3 and build up a substantial lead and than unleash Ajmal on to England's players.

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

Awesome day. Would have taken it at the start.

Ajmal, great performance!

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

Wonderful day for Pakistan.

After getting England out for below-par score, they safely negotiated the remaining overs and ended the day at 42/0. I am hoping that somehow they can take 175-200 runs lead in the first inning by Tea on 3rd day.

:smack2: bhai uss kay poray jism par gardan tuk aur arms par baal he baal hain siwai ser kay :omg: :rotfl:

hum apni performance say jawab daitay hain :hbk:

42/0 (15 overs) RR 2.80 :jhanda:

A nice total on board only depends how long openers can bat :cbora: Hope to see Pakistan batting till end of day 3rd :sunnyboy:

An awful start to the tour for England. Outwitted by Pakistan’s spinners and bowled out for a well below-par score. Then absolutely nothing in the game for England’s bowlers. They’ve let themselves down today have England, that was not the No.1 Test side in the world… As for Pakistan that was a wonderful day and a big marker for the series. Saeed Ajmal took career-best figures and, as Michael Vaughan said on TMS, he could bowl Pakistan to the series. England have never faced a bowler like him before and were bamboozled.

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

Alhamdolillah, Pak 42/0 and Eng 192/10 :k:

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

For that they need to make more than 200 runs tomorrow. Which by recent standards is a tough ask. Lets hope for fresher approach. :)

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

Recent norm is scoring at 2.5+ RR which means around 225 runs tomorrow, +42 today = 267, plus IF they can survive 1st session on 3rd day as well then 50-80 for that... total of around 310-330, lead of around 130-140.

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

I think English men will now accuse Ajmal for arm ball. Just wait and see.

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

They already did

Re: 1st Test: Pakistan v England, Dubai - Jan 17-21, 2012

It’s not the first time Ajmal was accused. It happened before and he was cleared.
