Overall, a fairly good day for Pakistan. West Indies, late in the first session, looked to claw their way back into the game but Pakistan, courtesy of Yousef and Malik, took the game from them nicely. Congrats to Yousef and well played, Pakistan!

We are having to get up at 4 in the morning here in the UK to watch cricket on ARY, so thank God they made it worthwhile.
The r/r is slightly slow as this isnt your typical Asian belter. There is something in it for the bowlers, you just have to hit the deck like Gul did yesterday. It will do something if the seam is upright.
Yousef batted brilliantly. 2 chances, but thats not his fault. Stumping was fortunate not to be referred.
The plan surely must be to race ahead tomorrow, score 150-200 in good time and then get the WI in...we are really getting 2 sessions a day (+ 40 mins), owing to light...so we dont want to stretch this out in we can avoid it.
Tomorrow evening, the WI must be in.

Do we have bowlers good enough to bowl out west indies in the second innings on pitch that has become docile.

No i did not, but, i doubt if Shahid Nazir will get any help from wicket if at all, Kaneria may be the match winning bowler if balls gets some spin, otherwise, WI may also post a big score in second innings.

Mashallah very good performance by our batsmen and the lead goes upto 59 with only 4 wickets down. In order to provide a lead of 250-300 they will have to bat all day tomorrow (if possible) which would mean 2 days for WI to play out for draw or for us to bowl them out and score the remaining runs if they pass the lead…

West Indies definitely need to be in towards the end of the day, perhaps for only ten (10) overs or less, but they should be in for a few overs.
