**Pakistan should include Ajmal and open with Kamran - Imran
**Wednesday’s game is a tussle between two sides that are known for their ability to oscillate between the brilliant and ordinary. The fact of the matter is that if Pakistan want to do well, they will have to ensure that their bowlers continue the excellent form they have displayed so far.
West Indies, on the other hand, will hope to bat first and get off to a flying start. Chris Gayle is one of the hardest hitters in contemporary cricket and his team’s fortunes will depend greatly on how he fares on Wednesday. This makes the toss very crucial and Pakistan would be very keen to bat first, post a total and defend it with the help of their in-form bowling attack. West Indies too would like to bat first and post a big total, especially after their failed chase against both England and India.
Going by form, it would be fair to say that Pakistan are looking good at the moment. Umar Gul’s bowling has been as good as anybody else’s in this World Cup. He has regularly given the side early breakthroughs and has also used the old ball well. Shahid Afridi has bowled very well, and the success has reflected in his positive leadership. However, at the risk of repeating myself, I would like to see him play both Rahman and Saeed Ajmal, especially against West Indies.
For some reason, Afridi seems to have lost faith in his off-spinner and reports from the team suggest that he has lost a bit of his rhythm. However, there is a clear case for playing him on Wednesday and to accommodate him, I would make Kamran Akmal open. Speaking of Akmal, it’s heartening to see that his wicketkeeping form has improved. He is not going to be spectacular but he needs to be
adequate and he has answered that brief so far.
As mentioned earlier, West Indies are as mercurial as Pakistan. They have been getting into good positions and then giving the game away. Their best chance would be to post a good target and put Pakistan’s slightly suspect batting, especially the top order, under pressure. Players like Kemar Roach and Ravi Rampaul have the ability to do that. GAMEPLAN

Khuda na Khwasta I have a very bad feeling today. I am just praying for Afridi to win the toss right now. If he loses the toss and we bat second that would be very bad especially since historically pakistani team's history of disappointing fans after a big win. I am not gonna be a sore loser today and as long as we fight and fight hard I will be ok with any result (offcourse I will be heart broken if we don't get the opportunity to thrash aussies/india in semis)
