Hafeez used to be an opener, but was dropped in the ODI’s in South Africa’s for extremely poor form. (Sucessive scores under 10) At the the time Inzi said he would never play again. It’s probably good we have an opener at that position - Pakistan will need to play steady until 15 overs left when Razzaq, Afridi and maybe even Naved will need to take it to the end.
