Selectors have faces made of Botox... they don't really feel the slap. I am sure they'll drop him in the next series. Fawad Alam has played these kind of innings a number of times before, and every time he's dropped.

Me too afraid as we have lost many good players through this type of creepy work.

Just watched the highlights.

I didnt get how SL reached such a big total from nowhere. Cant understand why our bowlers were doing so many short-pitches.

Phenominal inning by Fawad and yes he should be in test cricket team.

Sohaib batted great but was very lucky to escape from first catch n stump at 32 and then two runouts later. There is something wrong with his running.

But none of that must have prepared him to deal with the lift and awkward angle of a 7’1" left-arm seamer on a bouncy, slightly two-paced pitch. Mohammad Irfan kept banging it in short, and kept getting it to rear at Chandimal’s throat. He tried to fend the ball away initially, squirting it down with an uncomfortable roll of his wrists and only occasionally succeeding, before deciding to take Irfan on. Deep backward square leg took a simple catch, and he must have known the top-edged pull was around the corner.

also, sarfraz should have been retained into ODI squad because he was in awesome form....he was playing herarth without any problem and was confrotable against pace as well

But on a serious note i second ur thoughts for Fawad to be in the Test Team and keep Sarfraz for the ODIs given how he played SL-Bowlers

Pak successfully chasing 250 plus from 94/4 ... what a comeback!

Fawad and Sohaib literally pulled a rabbit out of a hat...I stopped watching the game when the 4th wicket fell, thought the writing's on the wall

Fawad should be a regular member of both the test and ODI teams. He was slow initially but he showed that when you build a platform you have a chance of winning despite high RRR. Wickets in hand was the key. Maqsood should be tried in tests as well.

Young blood is the way forward! Younis needs to retire from ODIs...perhaps even Hafeez

Batting depth (Afridi at #8) helped Pakistan's cause. Maqsood should be batting up the order.

Let's see if they show consistency in the remaining games

Fawad need to work on his stamina though. He seemd to exhausted/tired towards the end of his inning (just an ODI inning) so much so that his shots towards the end of innings had no powers...
