as i was born in germany and living here my whole life,, i did not see the serial but after my marriage my husband told me about it,, and so as we went to pakistan the last time we bought it on DVD and now we r watching it regulary.. the song of nusrat fateh ali khan makes me cry every time again...
it was a great drama

I do remember the drama…i dont think title song was sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali…
does it go something like “hum koi jag se niralay to nahi hein logo”…if thats the song..then, no it was not sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali..
and I have seen Ashir Azeem in person, he’s alright too…

I guess the song was “Kisay daa yaar na vichray” and singer is Marhoom Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sahib this song is sooooooooooo sad

Dhuwan was my real fav , can’t forget even i was a kid at that time , that’s y watched it again later … TWO BIG THUMBS UP .

would love to share my list of all time favourites + classical dramas ( old though)…
drama’s by shoib mansoor like Unkahi + Tanhayaan +ABC (alpha bravo charlie)
also many others like Aangan tayrhaa , Inkarr , Behlava , Marvi , 50/50 etc.

Also long play’s starring humayun saeed like , pappa ka kia hoga , na janay kia ho gaya , peeela jora and many more.

Also liked lot of classy dramas starring mahnoor baloch , maria wasti , savera nadeem , uzma gillani and samina peerzada but didn’t remember their names.

I remember one more drama “WApsi” in cast I know there was Ayub khoso and Hasaam qazi marhoom
does any body remember that drama

ASP Azhar (the police guy) was a pioneer …
He did something unique and the drama was in a class of its own
We didnt have an example of detective, police, action type plays on TV

It was this change that bowled the viewers..

Any1 remember that drama serial ? I happened to watch all of its episodes and I really liked it…Death of Daud (Nabeel) brought tears to many eyes and the major factor was the background song of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Also I never saw Nazli after this drama. Maybe she got married or something …in my opinion, about Dhuwaan was its natural feel. Everthing seemed just too natural for me, as if the actors weren’t acting and as if they were being recorded with a candid camera.

Nazli Nasar got married with model Hasan Soomroo.

Dhuwan:-
Set around 4 rather likeable young fellows who are a crack squad of ..well, police commandoes. The production, which oozes with style! The actors all had a tremendously relaxed, charming style. Tons of neat outdoor shooting, and liberal use of ammunition to convey realism ( rather than the usual smokeless, flash less bangs with unrealistic recoils that we're used to).

Baghi:-
A Great Drama on cops and robbers story Shabbir Jan plays the good cop for the up teeth time and Ayub Khusso the 'shaved head' bad guy .
