Love stories are normally tragic. Only Bollywood produces love stories with happy ending.

Re: 1947 - A Love Story

i read articles about them and cried the whole day.my doubts are did zainab ever feel for her husband's loss, for which she is solely responsible?did she ever cared to find about her elder daughter?did she have children from her second marriage?how can she disown her own children?i even read in another article that her second husband physically abused her and her daughter(from boota singh).why did she lie in court ,due to family pressure or is it like she lost interest in her first husband ,that she longed for second marriage, for which she didnt care about her children from her marriage from boota singh? and is she alive today? why i am asking is am planning to write a book on this, with ur help.i am deeply touched by this story.i have never been so emotional in life.and if life permits i may visit pakistan and visit u also on this issue.plz reply me as soon as possible, becoz i am serious.i want to know the rest part of zainab's life.

Re: 1947 - A Love Story

that article says:

What happened to Zainab? How did she take it? Our clever journalist from Lahore found it out. He went to her village and lived there for some time and won her confidence soon enough. One day he asked her casually: "Well, he is dead. Why should that bother you? You have a young husband and plenty of land. What more do you want?"

"What you say is true but no-one can love me the way he (Boota Singh ) did. At night when I could not sleep because of the heat, he would fan me for hours. This husband I have now, beats me up and my daughter and says she is not good looking because she has been living with a Sikh." Well, that's how the Boota Singh story ended.
