Try using a powder before starting up on everyday foundation routine.

I do use a powder, but its pretty light and doesn’t do much to make skin appear even.

I know so many girls who start wearing foundation in high school…and some who start even in middle school. So, no, 19 is not too young…although this is subjective. There’s nothing wrong with wearing foundation (light or heavier)…as long as it matches your skin tone and looks natural and not overdone. You can choose to wear foundation only when you feel you look especially tired…and let your skin breathe when you think it’s in much better condition. The most important thing is that you remove the makeup before going to sleep. ON a talk show…(maybe it was Oprah or Tyra Banks) a dermatologist mentioned how sleeping in your makeup can start aging your skin faster. You can try a tinted moisturizer…which is basically moisturizer mixed with a little foundation.

I went to this bobby brown counter after reading tons of reviews about their tinted moisturizer. The lady there was a desi and told me tinted moisturizer are for really pale people who need a little ‘tint’. They aren’t for desi tones, is this true? =S
She then tried this Dior airflash foundation on me which made me look plastic and definitely not something I would wear for everyday use.
