And based on this overwhelming deluge of proofs and evidences the most literate, educated and far seeing guppies have sentenced them to death already...
Perhaps it would have been better had a crime been actually committed before the sentencing...
But that's the greatness of being as knowlegdable as the few guppies in this thread...You can pass judgment even before a crime takes place...

Last time I heard, justice meant punishing a criminal…Criminal = Someone who commits a crime…
Right now all I know is that they arrested some people with some chemicals and stuff…
They aren’t even suspects because a suspect is someone who might have committed a crime or be involved…
What is your excuse for lashing out at them? Fear of social sanctions because you yourself are Muslim? Fear of persecution? Fear for this and that?
Try to stand up for your innocence…Don’t feel guilty and fearful everytime someone points a finger at you…It is this guilt and fear inside you that is making you lash out at these people who for all purposes may well be very innocent themselves…

I don't understand how you can say that they should be allowed to comitt the crime. u want thousands killed before catching them? bombers have to be stopped! not caught after the bombing. catching them after the bombing is useless. plus...they'd probably be dead during the bombing.
what if someone is planning to bomb your hometown right now. do u think he should be allowed to comitt the crime instead of stopping him in the act???

do u / authorities have any concrete evidence that these ppl were indeed planning to kill innocent civilians? where 'innocent until proven guilty' fits in all this? i'm sure many of us still remember those 21 students who were arrested last year. were put in jail for months, never charged with any crime and were later deported to pak. while during all that their photos were flashed all around the world as 'terrorists' and 'alqaeda's sleeper cells' in canada. their future pretty much went down the drain and for wht? canadian government never acknowledged that these ppl were indeed innocent. but then its easy to label any muslim 'terrorist' bcoz they know ppl like u won't let go of any opportunity to flex their muscles on other muslims.

I'm going to avoid the little argument going on in the thread and take a look at a different angle. I was listening to Harper's response to the arrests and it looks like he's taken a page from Bush's books and was going on about "attacks on Canadian freedoms and way of life" blah blah blah.
Don't they get that these ppl are upset about what's happening to muslims around the world?? Iraq, Afghanistan, 9/11 ...these are ALL connected. Why don't they see that???
Does anyone think Harper's gonna get heat for staying in Afghanistan??
