firstly, theres should be no price tag on Holy Quran. It's priceless. Quran should be sold for hadiya, that is , anyone can have it for any price they offer. The owner of it should not reject any offer.

@Dushwari : it has got nothing to do with how much you love your religion/faith. There is no point keeping hundreds of Quran at home, when one doesnt even follow it. On other hand, a small pocket sized Quran is more than enough for someone who truly wants to follow its commandments.

PS: so wat if its 130 year old Quran? Holy Quran has never been changed for more than 1500 years.. follow its teachings and forget about who the publisher is, how is it written.. etc.. they mean nothing.

It is the Qur'an, but it is also a historical artifact providing it can be authenticated. The correct method to have this done would be for the seller to consult his/her solicitor and the buyer to consult his/her solicitor and to place the book in the hands of a mediator until payment is made and time given for the item to be checked. Any direct sell should be avoided and this is not the place to do it .....
