12 year old Pakistani boy be-heads alleged American Spy

Re: 12 year old Pakistani boy be-heads alleged American Spy

If the kid's life was set with respect to his culture, then it's all good.

The only reason 'child' soldiers aren't allowed in Western nations is that childhood is meant to be a time of development. Within such cultures, it is deemed that one must at the very least complete secondary education before they are considered 'ready' for the world. Thus, depriving any child the opportunity to complete such schooling is thought of as robbing them of something.

There is nothing intrinsically sacred or romantic about youth, nor is the age of 17 some magic cut off point that dictates if one can slaughter another human being or not, regardless of what the army recruiting office says.

This kid was probably done schooling with respect to his culture at the age of 6. Bemoan that. Spare us the nature of how so and so was killed. It's much more manly and honest than dropping an automated daisy cutter from 50k feet. There's no nice way to kill someone.

What get son my nerves is the rather unsophisitcated way it was carried out. There must be a trial, and the event should be sober and grimm. They act like a bunch of apes, not like a people who love justice.
