This response from Khanewal shows how difficult it is fight the Taliban. So many of our people are in complete denial. No one seems to have heard of blow back, where the ISI trained and armed these groups, and now they have turned against us.
I feel sorry for the Shia community, they seem to be taking the brunt of these attacks, for let me assure them that these Wahaabis are a threat to us Sunnis as well.
Why would the MQM want to desestabalise there own government, where is the logic in that.
The day we ditch people like Zaid Hamid, and confront this threat, the quicker we will deal with these people.
Khanewal's point on the madrasah is so stupid. No one is saying that every madrasah is traininng ground, but it is a fact that Haqaniah near Akora Khattak has been a terrorist camp, and south Punjab (including Khanewal) is the centre of this fitna. I have been to Deoband in india, and the Ulema there have issued a fatwa against the Taliban, so these people are not even recognized by the Deobandi maslaq. Talking someone of the students, they seemed to be genuinely appaled at what is happening in Pakistan.
DEoband is a mandir or what? Waah-jee waah, Hindus issuing fatwas against muslims.
