you cannot compare the justice system here vs what happens in S.asia or Africa.
there is a huge difference in how rape victims are treated here vs those countries.

There was no comparison made by me between SE Asia and Outside SE Asia. Read my post again.

It is not even possible to compare the stats since stats from SE Asia or Afghanistan is not really known.

You are citing the article from a UK Baroness who made her own research, which does not represent National database.
UK Govt. did take some of her proposals seriously though.

I did not present 6% conviction rate which this article is refuting.

You are presenting the conviction rate when it was reported.

The low percentage often quoted is based on the rate of crime versus rate of conviction, hence the conviction rate will be lower than what would be from rate of crime versus formally ‘reported’ cases.

I did not talk about UK altogether.
