I came back from a weeks? holiday on Friday, and today (Sunday) I ran a half marathon. Yep, I did it! I walked some of it, but ran more than I have ever before.
A couple of months ago, I injured my knee when training and that combined with the very hot weather we?ve had (excuses I know) meant that I only did five runs in preparation for this half marathon (oops!). So with basically no training, I?ve completed the half marathon in 3 hours and 10 minutes. I was sensible with the knee and Alhamdulillah haven?t picked up any further injuries.

I now want to do more runs. I never thought I?d say this.
