I moved to Toronto last year from Pakistan and this is my first summer here. I always used Lancome facepowder as a base before applying any makeup. I am a basic facepowder kajal gloss girl, and sometimes use blush and eye liner....anyway point being, I've had combinational skin all my life but ever since Ive moved here, my forehead and cheeks are becoming excessively dry! I can't use facepowder anymore as it has started looking cakey and gives dry patches...Ive been using Olay facecream as a base since a week but obviously i need a light facepowder or anything in liquid form (not a heavy foundation as Ive never applied foundation besides on my shadi functions) so please please please suggest a good makeup base to me!

      Thank u so much!

Have you tried any Mac products? Mac Prep & Prime is a good primer to use under make up. I think there's a pretty good primer by Smashbox too
It's all fun and smiles until you get bitten by a shark.

Try the HD foundation from Make Up Forever (it's liquid). It doesn't look cakey and looks fantastic in person + on camera
You can get it from Sephora
