We all must know what are we saying to ALLAH in namaz...

Sanaa: Ay ALLAH tu paak hai, aur tamaam tareefein tere hi liye hain, aur tera naam bara barkat wala hai, aur teri shaan bohat buland hai, aur tere siwa koi ibadat ke laiq nahi.

Taooz: Me ALLAh ki panah me aata hoon shetaan mardood se.

Tasmiya: Shuru kerta hu ALLAH ke paak naam se jo baRa meharbaan aur nihayat reham kerne wala hai.

Fatiha: Har tarha ki tareef ALLAH hi ke liye hai jo tamaam kainaat ka paalne wala hai, jo baRa meherban nihayat reham kerne wala hai, malik hai roz-e-jaza ka, hum teri hi ibadat kerte hain aur tujh hi se madad mangte hain, hamein seedha raasta dikha, wo raasta jis per tunay inam kiya, na keh un logon ka raasta jin per tera azaab hua aur na hi gumraahon ka (aameen).

Surat-ul-Ikhlaas: Keh do keh ALLAH aik hai, ALLAH be-neyaaz hai, naa uski koi aulaad hai aur na wo kisi ki aulaad hai, aur koi uska hamsar nahi.

Ruku': Paak hai mera Rab bari azmat wala.

Ruku' se uthne ki dua: ALLAH ne uski sun li jisne uski tareef ki, Ay ALLAH hum teri hi tareef kerte hain.

Sajda: Paak hai mera Rab bohat Aala martbe wala.

Tashud: Tamam zuban ki badni aur maali ibadaat ALLAH ke liye hain, Ay ALLAH ke Nabi aap pe ALLAH ki rehmat aur barkatein hon, rehmatein hon hum per aur ALLAH ke saleh bandon per, me gawahi deta hoon keh ALLAH ke siwa koi ibadat ke laiq nahi aur me gawahi deta hoon keh Hazrat Muhammad ALLAH ke bande aur rasool hain.

Darood: Ay ALLAH rehamatein farma Hazrat Muhammad aur unki aal per jese tune rehmatein farmaein Hazrat Ibrahim aur unki aal per, beshak tu tareef ke laiq hai buzurgi wala. Ay ALLAH barkatein farma Hazrat Muhammad aur unki aal per jese tune barkatein farmaein Hazrat Ibrahim aur unki aal per, beshak tu tareef ke laiq hai buzurgi wala.

Dua: Ay mere Rab, mujhe aur meri aulaad ko namaz qaim kerne wala bana, Ay hamare rab hamari dua qabool ker, ay Parwardigar mujhe aur mere walidein aur sab imaan walon ko us din maaf ker dena jab hisaab qaim hoga.

Salam: Tum per salaamti aur ALLAH ki rehmat ho.

      Masha Allah Hakuna! Jazakallah Khairun!

You can add the Neeyat also because scholars say one has to say/whisper one's Neeyat out at least audible enough for your own ears!

Khas neeyat karta hun is Namaz ke, Namaz khas wastey Allah Subhanahu wa Taala kay

2 rakaat Namaz Farz; Farz khas wastay Allah Subanahu wa Taala kay

      waqat Namaz aaj ki Fajjer,

      Moun taraf Khana Kaaa Sharif

      Allah Hu Akbar

      Peace @SindSagar,

There is no such wording in the beginning of any Salaath, neither it is compulsory (as you mentioned above) nor it is part of the Deen.

yes it is not compulsary but you one should remember which prayer and how many farz is he/she going to pray.. so no harm in doing niyyat.. as after it one should not distract or wander..

The actual/main reason to share this translation is that we should read/remember this translation while reciting prayer.. because usually our mind distract or wander during the prayer.. a brain cannot remain empty, so to fill it, we must read the translation in our mind..

Lethal Bhai meray khial main aap ek bar aur check kar lein kion kay jahan tuk mera ilm hai Hanafi Mazhub main Nimaz ke Niyat Karna Farz hai, aur jaisay Nimaaz recite ke jati hai aisay hi Niyat be recite ke jati hai:

The reasoning behind the recitaion of the Niyat(can be in any language the reciter knows) and recitation of Namaz is for the Kiramun Katebeen, to be able to hear and record it, remember they can not read our mind!

only Allah SWT knows what is in our minds.

The record of our Amaal is recorded by the Kiramun Katibeen therefore it is best to have ones Niyat for the Good Amaal
      recorded too!

      Peace All,

As per context of hadith, What is Niyat (intention)? It is actually "intention in our heart" to do/decide something.

      For an example:

Let say we hear Adhaan of Dhuhar and decide to offer Saalath in Masjid. So we came in Masjid. Question is why we came in Masjid? Answer is that to offer Dhuhar Salaath in Masjid because this is the intention (niyat) we made in our heart while hearing Adhaan.

Moreover, we will not going to say/proclaim Asar Salaath or other than Dhuhar Slaath at Dhuhar Salaath time? Right? So proclaiming in Urdu is not necessary nor is a part of any Salaath and Deen-e-Islam.

Furthermore, by proclaiming in Urdu (doing niyat) to whom we're uttering these words? I mean to whom we're telling "Khas neeyat karta hun is Namaz ke, Namaz khas wastey Allah Subhanahu wa Taala kay"? Are we telling Almighty Allah that we came to offer so and so Namaaz for you??? See how beautifully Almighty Allah answer this:
      "
      "
Kiya hum Almighty Allah ko yeh batana chahtain hain ke hum yeh wali namaz k liyeh aain hain? Kiya Almighty Allah ko (naooz-billah) nahi pata ke hum Masjid mein kis liyeh or konsi namaaz k liyeh aain hain? Sochain ki baat hy.

Mere Bhai! Yeh jo Urdu wali neeyat hy, yeh neeyat na hadith se sabit hy or na kisi Sahabi se sabit hy. Bas dil ka irada hota jaise k hadith mein bayan howa hy or kiram-un-katibeen Almighty Allah ke hukam se sab kuch note kr latain hain jo irada app ke dil mein ho. Chahy app halki awaz mein kahain ya unchi awaz mein ya chup reh kr.
@Hakuna Matata, above answer is for you as well

Lethal Brother you are right Masha Allah!

however it is stated that reciting the Niyaat aloud is considered a Bidat e Hasana

Niyyah is made with the heart in all of the four madhhabs. If a person has difficulty in making intention by heart, it is permissible for him to utter verbally the intention he made in his heart.

Lethal Bhai Allah Subhanahu WaTaala Bay Niaz hai and is in no need for our prayers or any act of devotion we learn that from the Holy Quran and from our Prophet PBUH!

Kiya hum Almighty Allah ko yeh batana chahtain hain ke hum yeh wali namaz k liyeh aain hain? Kiya Almighty Allah ko (naooz-billah) nahi pata ke hum Masjid mein kis liyeh or konsi namaaz k liyeh aain hain? Sochain ki baat hy.
How you equate making Niyat for Salaat (an act of devotion to Allah SWT) with the Negative thought according to your own private interpretation you said (naoozo-billah) is not at all Kosher my friend! and then putting a smiley by it?

I will remind you of the story during the time of Rasull Allah PBUH there were some people who would come to the Masjid, stand behind the Imam and would also have small Idols under their arms, and their Niyaat was to pray to their own definition of God. may be you are familiar with this story? so in the Shafi Mazhab the ruling to raise your hands to your ears when reciting Allah Hu Akbar before going into rukuh! so that prevented anyone from that kind of behavior in the Masjid!

‘Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah, while doing good, his reward is with his Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them, neither shall they grieve.’

In the end Only Allah SWT knows our Niyaat, and for any human being making assumptions about other persons niyaat is highly irregular and presumptive on their part!

jee bhai, and I dont think ke mene kahin kaha ho niyyat ba-awaz-e-buland ki jani chahiyey aimaal ka daromadaar niyaton per hai.. and niyat hogi tabhi hum namaz ke liye kharay hongay na.. and it is compulsory ke niyyat honi chahiyey ke kis namaz ke liye kitni raka'at adaa kerne lage hain kyunke iski zarurat kisi aur ko nahi humein khud hai, koi bina sochay samjhay kese namaz adaa ker sakta hai?? ab aap isay niyyat keh lein ya soch, aik baar yaad-dehaani kerni hi parti hai.. and same goes for namaz-e-janaza and namaz-e-eidein..
