It seems like the purpose of this thread is not a sincere discussion but rather to insult a religion and its followers. I know many low lives engage in this kind of provocation but our values here in west is to respect peoples faith. As per the accomplishments they historically have numerous from sciences, math astronomy, philosophy, medicine etc. They must have done sth right, why else did a big nation of Hindustan fall to its knees to a handful of good looking guys?

I have not insulted anyone and maybe you need to read the original post more slowly a few times, try to understand it ,try to retain it and then make an informed reply.

      Hindustan is irrelevant.

Attacking the veracity of someone's faith is provocation and an insult and again we don't welcome bigots and hateful people in our societies. It is understandable that some people would be bitter about being conquered by a handful of handsome fellas.

There are 73 sects of Islam and therefore the veracity of the faith you you claim is already in doubt as evidenced by the existence of 72 sects. Acknowledged as it simply exists.

Insult is relative and a matter of perception and I don't insult.

      Handsome fellas are irrelevant.

The real issue of the post is not the need for discussion, I feel it emanates from the bitterness of being conquered and all sorts of excesses that ensued such as adulteration of culture, faith, genetics etc. Again we don't appreciate racists polluting our tolerant societies. Even if there were a million sects it is upto the believer to believe in what they will. We had a situation where these Hindus started worshipping a misplaced traffic pillon mistaking it for Shiv Linga because of the shape and no one ridiculed them. Again people who import intolerance don't belong here.
Handsomeness is relevant a lot of people get jealous and become haters because of it and then make posts to discredit the people. I apologize if we made you feel inadequate.

Sahih Muslim 3421—Aisha reported that it had been revealed in the Holy Qur’an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated by five sucklings and Allah’s Apostle died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur’an (and recited by the Muslims).

Sunan ibn Majah 1944—It was narrated that Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.”

Garbled while conveying by human either through space or time. I agree with you on that if it is about narrations. But about the Almighty Allah's words i.e., Holy Qur'an, the chance are none, zero.

Today's Quran is accepted to be the same Quran that Hazrat Usman decreed to be the only official Quran under his rule. This official copy was the copy of Hazrat Zaid Bin Haris.

There were other copies of Quran in existence though that differed with the official copy. Notably
      1. Hazrat Ali had a version which was chronological in order.
      2. Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masud had a version that he kept and taught in Iraq. He is known to have an opinion that Surah Fatihah, Sura Nas and Surah Falaq were just prayers that Hazrat Muhammad PBUH recited. He did not consider these part of Quran. There were other differences as well.
      3. Hazrat Ubay Ibn Kaab had a different version that he kept and taugh . His version had some additional Suras that were not in Hazrat Zaid's version, among other differences.

These other versions did not survive time and the only version today is Hazrat Zaid's.

I have just gone through this thread and was pretty surprised that no one read the OP properly and didn't come up with a good answer. Some people were extremely harsh. this is not the way if someone brings up a question.
Having said that, I would try to answer the questions raised in the OP.

      1) Quran is not the hearsay that was communicated from one person to another. It is the Word of Allah the almighty and dictated by the holy prophet (pbuh) in his lifetime
      2) Allah Himself pledged to protect it
      3) One very obvious proof of the claim that Quran remained intact is that despite huge differences among the 73 sects, all agree on the same Quranic text. you can take copy of Quran from Shias, Sunis or anyone else and will find the same text without any iota of difference
      4) Despite the fact that some weird theories existed. for instance, there was a common notion that certain verses were abrogated (the number of abrogated verses were also in dispute). Despite all that you will not find two different Qurans. There is NO dispute over the text of Quran. you cannot say the same for the Bible
      5) Next tasn asserted that terrorism, justifying evil acts, considering other muslims wrong etc has anything to do with Quran. you are grossly wrong here. Tell me how do you see atrocities committed in the name of the Church, burning people at stake for political reasons, Spanish inquisition that was led the by church, White supremacists like KKK and Neo-Nazis base their weird thoughts in their scripture. Do you think we should blame all the wrongdoings of these weirdos on their holy scripture. Have you seen the movie 'Seven' where a devout follower of bible kill people left and right for the sins mentioned in bible. Was he justified in his horrendous acts? What say you.

      Peace @Ajju,

If you would like you may do little search at your end Some of these hadiths are classified as "Dhaeef - Weak" and some other said it is abrogated.

An expert in hadiths field will be able to answer you better if you would ask

When Quran says "This is the Book, no doubt in it"
and when it says that Allah has revealed it and He will be its protector then how can we even look at any other source. Any hadith or any other source that goes clearly against the verdict of Quran cannot be accepted.
