Another example was my previous very good looking assistant who is now my colleague was dealing with this Somali guy and she came back to me and said that the guy is so good looking that she is having a hard time talking to him. Our culture skews our measure of beauty. At my previous job this Nigerian girl was considered the most gorgeous female and I had noticed the room go dead silent when she entered the meeting room.
I agree in the West among many communities skin colour isn't an issue but it is still big in asia/subcontinent. Its still more acceptable to be a sanwaal lrka then lrki

Turns out this young man is hugely popular with females, hence beauty in the eyes of the beholder. Don't overthink this stuff. You don't win hearts with looks but by your actions.

I dont think most people look at actions most people are just into looks, people and their families. In a way it makes sense , if they can get both almost everywhere why settle for just one. I think girls tend to look beyond looks if the guy has other things. This does not seem to be a common thing men do. I think its because men are already educated , know thy can make money etc.
Maybe winning hearts isnot possible for some people.

Beauty is subjective if he finds you attractive then that is for him to decide and not you. I have seen scores of stunningly beautiful girls who never found a partner because of their attitude and high expectations. Beauty is a fleeting thing also, eventually, you will be loved for who you are and not how you look.
