      Which state? Did you try any big desi store? If you visit stores like Patel brothers or Maharaja and tell them you need indian koyla they would arrange it from somewhere

      You can buy coal at any large grocery store they keep them with bbq, sometimes I cheat and buy liquid smoke. I dont think there is different smell from here to there.

      We have a chaotic household and everyone eats at a different time so we can't really present the food

      You can easily buy coal from hardware store or super/grocery stores..

      Not really, five days in fridge is a okay. I eat leftovers for days. We normally dont get sick. Just make sure food goes in fridge right away. we also freeze stuff and its good for months.
